30/60/90K Mileage Maintenance
As time goes by, various automotive repair and maintenance needs come up. Most
manufacturers recommend vehicle maintenance in intervals of 30,000 miles. This creates the
30/60/90k mile schedule (issued by the manufacturers to a vehicle owner). Trust our experts
here to keep you on schedule, help preserve the condition of the vehicle, optimize its
performance, and increase its resale value. This service includes;
Bulb Replacement / Wiper Blades
To maintain maximum visibility you should always make sure your vehicle's headlight and tail
light bulbs are in good working condition. Although replacing faulty bulbs is a simple and quick
process, you should always have an experienced automotive mechanic install it.
Having properly functioning wiper blades can also help keep you safe on the road. If your vehicle wipers are not doing their job and leaving streaks or not getting rid of any debris, bring them to us to have them replaced immediately.
Oil, Lube, and Filter
Your vehicle relies on oil, lube, and various filters to keep it running smoothly. Oil helps in
lubricating, cooling, and cleaning the internal engine components. However, over time the oil
can become contaminated, and it is recommended to change and check it every three months
(or 3,000 miles). When this happens it's always a good idea to have an expert lube, replace,
and change the necessary components to keep you safe on the road.
Differential Flush / Differentials
The differential is the part of the vehicle that compensates for the difference in travel distance
between the inner wheels and the outer wheels when the vehicle is turning. Due to the
differential's position in most non-four-wheel drive (fwd) vehicles, it does not get any of the star
treatment that the engine gets. The one thing that every vehicle owner needs to know is that
failure of the differential means the failure of the car. To save this from happening, have the
differential fluid changed every 30,000 to 50,000 miles. Changing the differential fluid is as
important as changing the oil in the engine, and although checking and changing the fluid it is
recommended that you visit an auto shop like ours to get a differential flush.
The differential transfers the engine power to the wheels. One important function of the differential is to pass on power to the wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds - thus its name. When turning, the outer wheels travel a larger distance than the inner wheels do (same with the front wheels versus the rear wheels), which means that all four wheels travel at different speeds during a turn and so the differential comes in to help. Have your differential checked regularly to keep them working properly.
PCV Valve Change
The positive crankcase ventilation (PVC) valve is a very important part of some vehicles
emission control systems. This valve is a very important part of some vehicles emission control
systems. The valve, which is usually plugged into a rubber grommet in the valve cover, is a
one-way passage for gasses to escape from the engine crankcase. With time, the PVC valve
becomes clogged with sludge that lives in the contaminants of the exhaust gasses. If your
vehicle has a PVC valve, make sure to have it regularly cleaned and (if necessary) replaced.
